  1. I found the visual travelogue of your hike positively inspiring. I’m reminded of the winter hikes I’ve made on the Bruce Trail in Ontario and the time I hiked 80 to 90 miles on the Appalachian Trail, starting at 3 mile Island and heading east.

For the past year following a stroke the prospect of my walking again has been rather dim, but I’m now up to about a quarter mile before exhaustion, and my goal is 3 miles this coming summer, and then… You have reminded me of what I say to others, never give up hope. Thank you Regina.
