Regina Reiter & Forgiveness Walks
January, 2013
January 11 – 13, 2013
Coker Creek, TN and Cocobelle Lodge Bed & Breakfast
Here’s the Plan:
Friday, January 11. Meet Regina and John at Cocobelle Lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening. Spend the night in the lodge, a quiet bed and breakfast we’ll have all to ourselves.
Saturday, January 12. Let’s walk! We’ll leave the lodge after breakfast and get on the Benton MacKaye Trail at Unicoi Gap, TN for a moderate 5-mile walk through the forest at the foot of Buck Bald. We will certainly visit the top of the Bald, either by foot or by car and enjoy the 360 degree view of the Unicoi Mountains we will have just traversed the week before. Return to the Lodge for another dinner and relaxing evening, including the Radical Forgiveness board game, Satori.
Sunday, January 13. Off again! After breakfast, Regina and John will pack up and resume their thru-hike of the Benton MacKaye Trail. You may join us for as long as you wish walking south, then return to your vehicle at TN 68 on your own. It’s an 8-mile round trip down the mountain to beautiful Coker Creek and back to TN 68.
